My name is Monica Clemente, and I want to take you on a brief journey through my daughter Leah's world—a world beautifully intertwined with stories.
From the tender age of just a few months, Leah's eyes sparkled at the sight of books. Can you believe she used to ask Santa Claus for books on Christmas? And birthdays? A trip to the library was her ideal gift. During her toughest times, even when hospitalized, a new book brought her the comfort and cheer she needed. I'd often find myself buying a new story every day just to see that smile on her face. ❤️
Leah's affinity for stories didn't just stop at reading. By an incredibly young age, she was weaving her own tales and had amassed a personal library that could easily outshine mine. It truly amazed me when, during our "Right Voice for You" class, she was completely enamored. She had an epiphany—she had a message for the world, and books were her chosen medium.
This brings me to why I'm reaching out. Leah's passion culminated in the creation of a heartwarming story named "Pugcito". Through "Pugcito", Leah aspires to help everyone embrace their unique magic—the quirks and qualities that make each one of us special. She dreams of a world where we empower our kids to shine, to be true to themselves without fear of judgment.
You might wonder, why do we need funds?
We're working towards publishing "Pugcito" and spreading Leah's uplifting message globally. Every donation will go towards the printing, marketing, and organizing of events where Leah can read and share her magical vision.
