  1. WHAT DATA DO WE STORE?

 

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you use our websites, go to our classes, shop in our online store, call us on the phone, get a phone call from us, create an online account, sign up to receive our emails, communicate with us via third-party social media sites, request customer support, apply for a job or otherwise communicate with us.

 

We store all data that we need in order to keep the relationship we have with customers and clients. The data ranges from records with full name, email and country to more extensive records that includes full names, telephone number, e-mail, home and work address as well as dependents.

 

For tax purposes, if you attend a class or buy a product, we will store your tax or VAT identification number and all data we need to issue a correct invoice in all jurisdictions we operate.

 

In addition, if you attend a class or buy a product, we will also keep a record of that in order to know if you have the prerequisites for advanced classes and to be able to check if you fulfill requirements to become an Actions for Futures facilitator.

 

We will also keep a record of your certification in order to be able to provide all services agreed in our Certified Facilitator Agreement and enable you to perform your business as agreed with us.

 

We can store both your shipping address, for product delivery, and billing address, which can be used in credit card or other payment verification

 

 

 

 

 

  1. WHY DO WE STORE YOUR DATA

 

We store your data in order to provide the services we offer free and to and fulfill our contractual agreement with our customers and clients.

 

Personal data is stored to send you information, free samples, products as well as update you on our projects and activities.

 

Your stored data enables our systems to better serve you, for example, when you support our projects you do not need to fill in your details every time, and our system knows which past products you have bought and also, can use your data to provide you with certain pricing advantages.

 

We also store data about your purchases in our Kajabi Shop. Some of your purchases may contribute to your eligibility to attend other advanced classes.

 

  1. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

 

Within Actions for Futures, the people who have access to your data are the ones that require that in order to fulfill our contractual agreement with our customers and clients. This can be our communication and marketing team, our event organizers as well as our administrative staff, and contractors.


In addition, outsourced work for specialized tasks within for example IT and accounting, sometimes requires us to give consultants access to your data whenever and wherever required to fulfill our legal obligations towards official authorities or to develop and improve our services.

 

In addition to our internal team and the external agencies we work with, all Facilitators and Coaches providing seminars and classes for Actions for Futures are listed as facilitators on our website, get access to your basic data (full name, email, address country and phone number) when you sign up or register for one of their classes through our general website www.actionsforfutures.com . This applies to live (in person) classes, telecalls, online courses as well as classes offered via audio-live and live streamed classes and our Kajabi courses.

As mentioned above, we share your data with Actions for Futures facilitators that you choose to take a class for. All our facilitators are licensed independent contractors so in order to share data with them, we have subcontracts in place for data sharing.

We keep the data stored as long as…

- we have a relationship with you as customer, client or interested party
- we are obligated to by law, for tax purposes

- until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information

As a customer, you have the right of to…

- manage your email or paid subscription
- correct any and all information we have stored
- get information of what data we have stored about you
- ask for deletion or limitation of your stored data.

  1. ARE CUSTOMERS OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE THEIR DATA?

 

Yes, to be able to fulfill the requests for information, free services as well as paid services, you as a customer or client must provide the data we need in order to enable us to fulfill our contractual obligations of the different services we offer.

Depending on what you are requesting from us, we will ask you to provide information that may range from your full name, email and country to more records that includes full names, telephone number, e-mail, home and work address as well as dependents.

 

 

  1. COOKIES, PROFILING AND AUTOMATIZATION

We do use cookies to make our website workable and user friendly, A pop up will appear the first time you visit our site, saying that we use cookies and by continuing you agree to us placing cookies on your computer. In the process a cookie will be placed on your computer so you don’t get the pop up every time.

 

We do not do automated profiling of any kind. Sometimes we will check what topics a client may be interested in based on his/hers previous choice of classes or products.

 

We may also use tracking pixels and other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you interact with our websites or emails, including information about your browsing and purchasing behavior. We may combine this information with other information we collect about you and use it for various purposes, such as improving our websites and your online experience, understanding which areas and features of our sites are popular, counting visits, understanding campaign effectiveness, tailoring our communications with you, determining whether an email has been opened and links within the email have been clicked and for other internal business purposes.

 

We do not share or sell your data with any outside agencies. The check of prerequisites for advanced classes are processed automatically.

 

 

  1. WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

 

We use multiple systems for storing your data to fulfill our contractual agreement with our customers and clients along with enabling for us to work worldwide.

 

In general information is stored in cloud services and computers in the United States and the European Community. Geographical location may differ between different services we provide.

 

 

  1. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR DATA?

 

Actions for Futures staff, contractors and the external agencies that we work with have all signed NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements). They have also been trained in data protection.  The data stored can only be accessed through security enabled entry points by users with permissions to access the information. All Actions for Futures facilitators/sub-contractors have signed a data protection agreement to ensure the data protection of the information we share with them. We’ve also offer written and online information data protection that are available for free for the facilitators.
